On November 19th at 5:30 PM\, be a part of one of the first audiences in the world to see GOOD BURGER 2\, as we host a free advance screening of the film\, ahead of its streaming premiere on Paramount+ on November 22nd. \nNot only is this the first time you’ll be able to see the film in San Diego\, it’s realistically the only time you will be able to catch the film theatrically. Join us as we catch up with Ed and Dex\, and see what’s next for them in their burger flippin’ adventures. \nAs soon as you walk through the doors\, we’ll take you back to a time when ALL THAT and SNICK meant everything in life. Produced by Nickelodeon Studios\, GOOD BURGER 2 will premiere on Wednesday\, November 22\, exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S. and Canada and on Thursday\, November 23\, on Paramount+ in the UK and Australia. The film also will be available in additional Paramount+ international markets shortly after. \nThe highly anticipated film sequel follows Dexter Reed (Kenan Thompson) and original cashier Ed (Kel Mitchell) as they reunite in the present day at fast-food restaurant Good Burger with a hilarious new group of employees. In GOOD BURGER 2\, Dexter Reed is down on his luck after another one of his inventions fails. Ed welcomes Dex back to Good Burger with open arms and gives him his old job back. Factory next month\, and we will be one of the first places\, if not the first place\, in the world to screen this new restoration on the big screen. So if you don’t show up\, you’re like…missing out on a moment in film history or something. \nYou’re also going to want to be in the building for the first ever Popcorn Reef Sleepover. “What the hell is Popcorn Reef Sleepover?” you may ask. It’s a brand new idea we’ve been working on all summer with The Adams Avenue Theater that’s designed to let you take a night off from 2023 and feel like you’re back in 1980\, or 1990-something. Remember when you could post up on a Friday night\, have some Gushers and a Capri Sun\, and watch whatever trash was on Cinemax with your friends all night long while your parents had no clue what was happening? That’s basically what we’re going to do here – except in a giant concert hall with alcohol. Pajamas and/or costumes are encouraged\, and if you come in something especially eye-catching\, you might just win a prize. \nWe’ve also decided to open the floor plan up at The Adams to let you take your nostalgia trip a bit further. We are excited to say\, this will be the first screening of the restoration in SD since the one-night Pi-Day IMAX event\, and it will quite possibly be the last chance you’ll get to see it on a big screen. \nPlus\, we have a wonderful short film pre-show from local San Diego filmmakers\, presented by Film Consortium San Diego.
