We are excited to say\, this will be the first screening of the restoration in SD since the one-night Pi-Day IMAX event\, and it will quite possibly be the last chance you’ll get to see it on a big screen. \nPlus\, we have a wonderful short film pre-show from local San Diego filmmakers\, presented by Film Consortium San Diego. The title was supposed to be a joke\, but the joke was on the marketing department when the film underperformed in theaters upon its initial release.***  \nSurfing is the only thing to do for high school students Chuck (a young Eric Stoltz in his first starring role) and Bob\, who are in preparation for the big surf competition. However\, their fathers\, sales reps for a new soda named Buzzz Cola\, disapprove of surfing as a whole. \nEverything is going swell until the area’s surfing population start getting kidnapped by Menlo (Eddie Deezen – GREASE\, WARGAMES)\, a vengeful nerd turned mad scientist\, with a particular vengeance aimed at surfers.
